About the Company
WhiteBox Learning builds customized software applications that complement "hands-on" teaching activities widely practiced in the technology, science, and engineering education disciplines. Using our software, students design, analyze, and create manufacturing outputs for CO2 powered dragsters, model rockets, bridges, and more. What distinguishes our software is its ability to orchestrate a comprehensive and fully integrated suite of CAD, analysis, and content delivery tools. In a nutshell, WhiteBox Learning software guides students through a comprehensive, realistic product development processes, enabling a focus on what's really important - learning critically important science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts.
While our company is new, our people and the technology we use have deep roots in industry. We have developed similar applications for many of the world's most advanced science and engineering organizations including Airbus Industries, Ford, General Motors, IPTN (Indonesia), Rolls Royce, Raytheon, and several suppliers to these companies.
Through our affiliation with North Carolina State University, we have access to experienced math, science, and technology education professors, engineering professors, and state-of-the-art facilities. This relationship ensures that our extensive application development experience is properly channeled to create exceptional educational software.
