How the Purchase Process Works:
Once I Purchase the Product:
Once you have confirmed your order, an automated email will be sent to the email address on the account. This email will contain login information to access the Teacher Control Center. Please ensure that you can accept emails from support@whiteboxlearning.com. This and all future correspondence will come to you from support@whiteboxlearning.com.
Once you have gained access to the Teacher Control Center, you can set up your application(s) and get your students started almost immediately (or as soon as you would like (see "When does my subscription start?" in the FAQs). If you'd like more details about the Teacher Control Center, click here.

Does price depend on the number of students?
No. Our prices depend on the amount of time you need access to the application(s). This is typical of web-based software.
Does price depend on the number of computers?
No. Our prices depend on the amount of time you need access to the application(s). This is typical of web-based software.
Can students use the software outside of the classroom?
Yes. The software is web-based, so students can use the application(s) on any computer with an Internet connection.
Can we purchase a persistent license?
We recognize that some schools prefer or are not allowed to purchase a subscription. Thus we do offer a persistent license in some cases. If interested, please contact us via email.
Does my subscription cover product upgrades?
Yes. Our web-based applications are updated frequently. There is never a charge for these "upgrades" and you don't have to worry about installation. The entire process happens on our servers.
What are the System Requirements?
WhiteBox applications are web-based, so our requirements are pretty straightforward. We do require fairly recent versions of Internet browsers (IE 7.0 or later, Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or later) and we also require that you install a free plugin to display 3d Graphics. For details, please see our System Requirements page.
When does my subscription start?
You control when the subscription starts. This task is completed in the Teacher Control Center.
Can I suspend my 6 Week subscription, thereby extending the expiration date?
No. Sorry, but all of the subscriptions run continuously from the time you choose to start them in the Teacher Control Center. We recognize that this may mean that you are not using the application(s) for the entire duration of the subscription term. But, we've set the duration to give you more than enough time to get acclimated to the system yourself and complete the activity with your students. Typically, teachers use our applications with their students for about 2 weeks prior to building physical models (if you choose to build physical models).
Can I purchase more than one subscription for the same application?
Yes. We've set the system up so that you can control when your subscription starts. So, for example, if you build CO2 cars once in the spring and then again in the fall, you could purchase two subscriptions at the same time and simply activate each subscription when you need it. If you do a particular activity more than twice, we recommend that you purchase a longer term subscription.
How do I enter my coupon code?
If you have a coupon, you will have the option to enter it when you Review your Cart. This is the second step in the purchase process, and the calculated total will reflect your discount.

- Review Order
Review and verify your account information and order. Also, if you have a coupon you can enter it here and we will total your order.
- Account Details
If you are an existing customer, we'll ask for the email address on the account. This will allow us to simply add a new subscription to your existing account. If you are a new customer, we'll need some basic information to set up your account like teacher name, email address, school name and address, and middle or high school (or other) so that we can set default levels for content and design specifications.
